We desire that each and every person here lives as full and active a lifestyle as possible, all are treated as individuals and encouraged to exercise choice in all aspects of their care. We trust both residents and their families will feel welcomed and at home here - rooms can be furnished with personal items and memorabilia, a wide choice of menu is available, visiting hours are not restricted and we endeavour to keep rules and regulations to a minimum. We pride ourselves on the quality of our care. Our staff team are committed to the well-being of our residents and are selected for their warmth and personality as well as their professional abilities. Each resident is looked after in accordance with an individually-tailored Care Plan. They are assigned a Key Worker who will take a special interest in them and their relatives, involving them in planning all aspects of the resident's care. We can arrange physiotherapy and chiropody where required and we receive regular visits from a local foot health specialist. There are qualified nurses on duty 24 hours a day and this is supplemented by-regular visits by a local GP.

All of our staff receive a comprehensive induction programme and are encouraged to develop their nursing and caring skills through further training. Care Assistants are encouraged to work towards NVQ qualifications and we have an excellent ratio of those with both Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care.

We believe that all nursing and care staff should be doing exactly what they are employed to do and that is why our excellent auxiliary staff have such an important and integral part to play in the smooth running of the home.

We have our own excellent on-site catering facilities providing a choice of tasty, nutritious meals to meet all dietary requirements. We do our best to responds to requests wherever possible. Drinks and snacks are also available between meals. Friends and relatives are welcome to dine with us for a small charge particularly for birthdays and special occasions.

Laundry is done daily on-site by our hard-working team and everywhere is kept clean, tidy and (very importantly) smelling fresh by our dedicated domestic staff. Our maintenance man ensures that everything is in safe working order as well as keeping the premises in the best possible condition.
